ROKU Salon Cancellation Policy as of April 2024

Our salon values transparency and mutual respect in all client interactions. These policies are in place to uphold the quality of our services and ensure a positive experience for all our valued clients.

 

 

**Acceptance of Policies:**

Before confirming any appointment at our salon, clients are required to thoroughly review and explicitly accept the following policies. This step is crucial to establishing clear expectations, minimising any potential confusion or disputes.

 

**Booking Fee:** 

To secure and confirm an appointment, a non-refundable deposit is mandatory. This deposit must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in automatic appointment cancellation. Our salon will communicate any outstanding deposit prior to the scheduled appointment.

 

**Pre-Service Policy:**

New colour clients must adhere to a two-step process before their colour service. This includes booking a mandatory consultation and skin test at least 48 hours in advance. The skin test is a legal precaution aimed at identifying potential allergies or reactions. Failure to complete these pre-service steps may result in the cancellation or rescheduling of the appointment.

 

**Appointment Refusal Policy:**

Our salon reserves the right to refuse service if there are contraindications jeopardising the client's health or the effectiveness of the service. In such instances, the deposit provided during booking will be retained until the client is fit for the appointment, meeting the salon's health and safety standards.

 

**Cancellations Policy:** 

Deposits serve as a commitment and deterrent against last-minute cancellations. Clients may redeem the deposit for future services if the cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours will result in the forfeiture of the deposit, serving as a cancellation fee.

 

**Confirmation of Understanding:**

Clients are encouraged to seek clarification on any policy aspects they find unclear. The successful submission of a booking is considered confirmation that the client has thoroughly read, understood, and accepted all outlined policies.

 

**Late Arrival Policy:**

Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. In the case of late arrivals, the salon reserves the right to adjust the duration of the service or may need to reschedule the appointment to accommodate subsequent bookings.

 

**No-Show Policy:**

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice is considered a no-show. In such cases, the client may be required to pay a fee equivalent to the full service cost or forfeit any prepaid deposits. Repeated no-show incidents may result in limitations or restrictions on future bookings.

 

**Personal Belongings Policy:**

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during their salon visit. The salon is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items. We recommend securing valuables to prevent any inconvenience.

 

**Communications Policy:**

All communications regarding appointments, changes, or cancellations will be conducted through the contact information provided by the client during booking. Clients are responsible for updating their contact information to receive important notifications from the salon.
 

**Pet Policy:** 

While we adore furry friends, we kindly request that clients refrain from bringing pets to their salon appointments. The salon environment may not be suitable for pets, and we aim to provide a comfortable and safe experience for all clients. Exceptions may be made for service animals in accordance with applicable laws. Please inform the salon in advance if you require accommodations for a service animal during your visit. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a serene atmosphere for all.
